Lumbini - Birth place of Lord Buddha
It is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Kapilavastu district of Nepal, near the Indian border. It is the place where Queen Mayadevi is said to have given birth to Siddhartha Gautama, who in turn ,as the Buddha Gautama, gave birth to the Buddhist tradition. The Buddha lived between roughly 563 and 483 BCE. Lulmbini is one of four magnets for pilgrimage that sprang up in places pivotal to the life of the Buddha, the others being at Kushinagar ,Bodh Gava, and Sarnath.
Sarnath --- the deer park where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma.
Sarnath is the deer park where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma, and where the Buddhist Sangha came into existence through the enlightenment of Kondanna. Sarnath is located 13 kilometres north of Varanasi, in Uttar Pradesh, India.

Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha-to-be, had been dwelling on the banks of the Nairanjana River with five ascetic followers for six years practicing austerities. Realising that austerities could not lead to realisation he abandoned them. His five ascetic companions disgusted at his seeming failure, deserted him and left for Sarnath.
Kushinagar ----- Gautama Buddha attained Parinirvana and was cremated.
Kushinagar is a town and a nagar panchavat in Kushinagar district in the India state of Uttar Pradesh. It is an important Buddhist pilgrimage site, where Gautama Buddha died.
