D1

arrive in Shanghai,meet the driver at the arrival hall after the check-luggage reclaim,transfer to the central accommodation,rest of the day at leisure.

D2

hotel breakfast,full day at leisure to explore Shanghai highlights like the fast developing Pudong area,the old town,the shining & bustling Nanjing Road,the widely famed Acrobat's show would make a very enjoyable evening.

D3

hotel breakfast,full day at leisure to explore Shanghai or the nearby living water towns like Zhouzhuang or Tongli,treat oneself with a good Shanghai dinner.

hotel breakfast,meet the driver in the hotel lobby,transfer to airport,flight to Guilin, meet the driver,transfer to the central accommodation,rest of the day at leisure.

D5

hotel breakfast,take the pleasure boat cruise down the picturesque Li River to Yangshuo,a lovely little town full of colors and tastes, stay in the central accommodation,rest of the day at leisure.

hotel breakfast,full free day to idle around the town center or bike out to the countryside to see the rice fields, to meet the farmers with buffaloes plowing or when lucky fishermen with cormorants fishing.

hotel breakfast,meet the driver in the hotel lobby, transfer to airport, flight to Xian, meet the driver after baggage reclaim,transfer to the central accommodation, rest of the day at leisure to explore the highlights of Xian including the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the well preserved City Wall on which cycling is an option, the History Museum,one of the best in China.

hotel breakfast, excursion to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum,one of the Eight Wonders of the world, walk the Bell & Drum Tower Square to meet the locals taking the overnight 4 berth sleeper train for Chongqing.

D9

arrival at Chongqing in the morning, meet the guide to do a city tour including Eling Park,the highest point to overlook this beautiful mountain city,then visit Ciqikou,the old back streets area of Chongqing, board the Yangtse cruise boat.

on board down the Yangtse River,we do an offshore excursion to Shi Bao Zhai (Precious Stone Fortress),a great complex of wood buildings on top of the mountain overlooking the running river.

on board, cruise through the Qutang Gorge at about 10am and Wu Gorge at about 5pm today plus an offshore excursion to Shen Nv Xi (Goddess Stream).

visit the breath taking Three Gorge Dam after breakfast in the morning,go through the ship locks into the Xiling Gorge,boat gets into Yichang at about noon time, disembark,meet the driver, transfer to station,bullet seat train to Beijing,meet the driver,transfer to the central accommodation,rest if the day at leisure.

hotel breakfast,full day at leisure to explore Beijing including the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City,the Hutongs etc,opportunity to try the wide famed Beijing Duck Dinner.

hotel breakfast, full day excursion to the less visited section of the Great Wall Mutianyu which offers greater views with longer trekking option.

hotel breakfast,full day at leisure to explore Beijing (the Temple of Heaven,the Summer Palace,the Lama Temple etc),a night out to see the Beijing Opera would be a real experience.
